Plants

The kingdom of plants is made up of well-known living things like trees, herbs, bushes, grasses, vines, ferns, and mosses. Through a process called photosynthesis, they turn water and carbon dioxide into the oxygen we breathe and the sugars we need to live. Plants make proteins, which are the building blocks of life, when they fix nitrogen.
